The Road To Nowhere
An underused road was removed and replaced with a huge garden bed! Now the section of roadway is transformed into a native perennial garden. At the time it was hailed as the largest Depave Paradise project in Canada, and it was the first project to dig up a roadway and turn it into a green space. This project brings attention to why green spaces are important to our urban environment and involves the community and lets people get their hands in the soil!
