Ptbo Hot Chocolate Fest

The first annual Ptbo Hot Chocolate Fest launched in 2023 featuring 15 over-the-top hot chocolate inspired menu items in the Boro.  This initiative was designed to support the Boro’s vibrant beverage scene during a traditionally slower period in the winter season.

Ptbo Hot Chocolate Fest drove increased visitation and spending to downtown cafes, bakeries, restaurants over a 10 day span. In its inaugural year, over 700 votes were cast to determine the Boro’s Top Hot Chocolatier.

Restaurant Feedback

  • 100% of restaurants stated they would participate again
  • 100% of restaurants felt the event was well organized
  • 100% felt they received a good amount of promotional support
  • 85% of felt that participating in Ptbo Hot Chocolate Fest was a valuable experience
  • 85% believed they were able to reach new customers through their Festival participation
