If your business is located outside the geographical area of the Peterborough Downtown Business Improvement Area (the DBIA), but you wish to become a member of the DBIA, you may wish to apply to become our associate member. You may benefit from our events and promotions with your associate membership.

Associate Member Benefits

Benefits Associate Membership provides the following benefits:

Receiving regular e-newsletters and other member communiqués relating to events, initiatives, economic development, streetscape and revitalization, security issues, bylaw enforcement, etc.
Retailers, Restaurants, and services will be featured on theboro.ca, our website dedicated to promoting downtown Peterborough and all of it’s businesses
Opportunity to participate in DBIA special events
Associate members can sit as sub-committee members (Marketing, Economic Development Committee, and Beautification) and provide input into events, advocacy, marketing, streetscape initiatives, and other DBIA developed priorities
Opportunity to participate in all DBIA co-operative marketing, promotional activities, and programs
Invitations to and opportunity to participate in all social and networking events, including the Annual General Meeting
Ability to reach our social media networks through the sharing of posts
